The clip on the redeployment of TARP funds illuminates the most important aspect of this story: agenices of the Executive brach will use government funds in much the same fashion as the Bush administration used the Congressional authorization to invade Iraq; give 'em inch, they'll take it a mile.

I'm pretty numb to all this by now but they keep finding ways of outdoing themselves. Karl Denninger has a great quote about the Sheeple and their apathy in the face of the bailouts:

"We are truly a nation of sheep and we're not going to get sheared this time we're going to get slaughtered and eaten".
